As we know, truly mobile phones are not necessarily popular. However, some brands persist in the idea of offering smartphones relatively small… even if it means cutting back on the size of their screen.
This is probably the path that ASUS has decided to take with its Zenfone 9. Not yet formalized by the Taiwanese brand, this new mobile has masterfully leaked through a promotional video mistakenly posted on YouTube. Of course, the clip in question has since been deleted (find it at this address), but that was enough to discover some of the features of the phone.
A smartphone that is simply… portable
Thus, the ASUS Zenfone 9 will opt for a compact format, since it features a 5.9-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The famous Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor will also be there. There is also a 4,300 mAh battery, two speakers, a 3.5mm jack and a dual rear camera with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main sensor.
In addition to having a side fingerprint reader, the Zenfone 9 will have IP68 waterproofing. Finally, the promotional clip reveals the existence of an amazing accessory in the form of a backpack holder that can accommodate the phone. A Gimbal stabilizer is also included. For now, we don’t know when the ASUS Zenfone 9 will be unveiled.
