AS Villeurbanne fought well on the Bayern Munich floor, but ended up conceding their sixth defeat in a row (76 to 72) in Euroleague basketball on Tuesday during the 27th day of competition. Without executives Nando de Colo and Charles Kahudi, the Villeurbannais remained in contact with the mark, even passing briefly in front of the score on a spectacular alley-oop from Dee Bost for Alex Tyus 1 min 30 seconds from the end of the third 3rd quarter time (50-49), but never managed to find a decisive momentum to win.
Asvel finally cracked in the last quarter. The two teams which have joined the prestigious European club competition on a permanent basis, after two years as simple guests, are struggling to join the fight for places of honor.
Zalgiris Thursday
