At 220 km / h on the A10 – imprisonment and briefing after a wild odyssey


A Tyrolean (27) living in Pongau has to serve 23 months in prison and is then sent to the institution. The reason is a chase through the Pongau. The convicted person roared over the A10 at 220 km / h, carried out risky overtaking maneuvers and crashed into a police car.

The defendant suffers from a personality disorder, so he is mentally ill. On March 12th, according to the indictment, he sat down in his silver Audi: he no longer had a driver’s license, the license plates were stolen. Nevertheless, the Tyrolean raced sometimes at up to 220 kilometers per hour on the A10. He endangered the lives of others through risky overtaking maneuvers. After the Autobahn exit Eben he was still roaring through the local area with more than 100 on the speedometer. In Altenmarkt, the police pulled a patrol car across. The driver crashed into the police car and was arrested despite resistance.

Verdict: 18 months of unconditional imprisonment plus four more months for an old criminal offense. And briefing in the institution, legally binding.
