At around 11:45 am, while AJ was having fun with his brothers in the family garden, the child suddenly disappeared. Untraceable for nearly 4 days, the young boy was found this Monday less than 500 m from the family home.
A real moment of relief for the family but also the authorities who had deployed many means to find little AJ. The child was spotted by a helicopter with a camera to detect movements.
“As soon as I saw the image of him on the screen, I was surprised and we knew immediately that it was him. I felt absolute joy ”, said Jonathan Smith, the pilot.
The little boy was sitting beside a spring of water trying to hydrate himself after surviving 3 nights in the Australian bush with temperatures not exceeding 3 ° C.
A real miracle
The young boy was immediately taken to hospital for examination. According to the doctors’ observations, AJ is in good health, although his diaper rash was slightly irritated by the diaper he wore during those 4 days.
