Eyewitnesses alerted the rescue services
A team from the Ebensee mountain rescue service and the emergency helicopter Martin 3 were ordered to the scene of the accident because there was a suspicion of a back injury. After arriving at Feuerkogel, mountain rescuers from Ebensee abseiled down to the injured woman in the steep terrain, who was already being cared for by the emergency doctor from the rescue helicopter. The stretcher in which the pilot was packed also had to be secured. The rescue was carried out by the crew of the emergency helicopter using a rope, which then took the paraglider to the hospital for further treatment.
