At least 25 dead after Bangladesh ferry sinks


DACCA, September 25 (Reuters) – At least 25 people have died and around 20 others are missing after a ferry carrying Hindu pilgrims sank in Bangladesh on Sunday, an official in the Panchagarh region, where he accident happened in the north of the country.

According to survivors, more than 70 people boarded the ferry for a pilgrimage to a Hindu temple, the official, Jahurul Islam, said.
