5 years after the release of Le Grand Bain, Gilles Lellouche put on his director’s hat again for L’Amour ouf. The shooting of this very ambitious film was completed very recently, after 88 days of shooting.

The show Nice gesture on France 2 was able to attend the last day of filming, at the beginning of September, in Marseille. The opportunity to find out more about this film which will hit the big screen in 2024.

L’Amour ouf will tell the love story between a little bandit and his sassy fiancée, with flashbacks and clashing stories, as summarized by journalist Pierre Lescure in his report.

The film, which promises to be very broad, will bring together a great cast: François Civil and Adèle Exarchopoulos, who, for the record, shared the Bac Nord poster with Gilles Lellouche.

For the record, L’Amour Ouf will be Gilles Lellouche’s third feature film, after Narco and Le Grand Bain. The latter was very successful, with 4.3 million entries. As the director explains, it was the success of this film that allowed him to carry out this new project, which he had been thinking about for 17 years!

A first attempt to make this film took place with Benoit Poelvoorde several years ago. “This movie is a fantasy come true“, he confides, still on the microphone of Beau Geste, broadcast Sunday October 15 on France 2.
