On Wednesday around 9:54 a.m., the State Transport Department (LVA) patrol was in the Linz city area. The two officers heard a radio call about a motionless person at the Linz-Pichling train station. Defibrillator on board Patrick and his colleague Sebastian had the newly purchased defibrillator with them at the time and immediately drove to the train station. When they arrived at the platform, they found a 47-year-old woman from Linz lying motionless on the ground. Patrick could not detect any breathing and therefore immediately started cardiopulmonary resuscitation. In the meantime, the Defi was prepared and due to the first pressure on the chest, the woman from Linz showed signs of life again. The emergency doctor took over. The police carried out the basic measures until the emergency doctor arrived. This meant that the patient could be handed over to the emergency medical service for primary care.
