American rock ‘n’ roll musician Jerry Lee Lewis has died.
He died at the age of 87, his agent confirmed to the German Press Agency.
Known as “The Killer,” the author of “Great Balls of Fires” was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986.
Lewis, the last survivor of a generation of pioneering artists including Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry and Little Richard, died at his home in Mississippi, south of Memphis, Tennessee, his agent Zach Farnum said in a statement.
