The Dyson V15 Detect Absolute is a powerful high-end vacuum cleaner, which comes with many accessories. It has three different brushes, each of which has its own particularity. The classic Motorbar brush, present on all of the brand’s vacuum cleaners, adapts the suction depending on the type of floor. The Fluffy optical brush, with integrated light, makes hair and dirt on floors visible. The motorized minibrush is useful for detangling hair and pet fur. Remember to regularly change brushes depending on the parts so that the V15 remains effective, and to clean them well so that they maintain their performance.
The cleaning head is equipped with a built-in light that reveals particles and grains of dust on the floor. A fun feature, but little more than a simple gadget, which won’t radically change your household. The same goes for the screen, whose sole function is to transmit information from the particle counter. The latter sorts the size of the vacuumed residue, while the screen displays data on the number of allergens or dust mites vacuumed.

At less than €600, it’s a good deal for a model that is certainly still a little expensive, but effective, handy and easy to use. The V15 Detect Absolute offers good ergonomics, which makes you forget its weight of 3 kg, when equipped with the suction tube and the hard brush. In hand vacuum cleaner mode, the weight of the V15 drops to 2 kg.
Auto and Boost modes efficiently vacuum hard floors, rugs and carpets, even with just one pass. Eco mode is mainly used to optimize autonomy, but is unfortunately not very powerful. A mode to favor when your interior is not very dirty, or if you have little battery left to finish your cleaning. In terms of autonomy, allow only 15 minutes in Boost mode, 30 minutes in Auto mode, and more than an hour of suction in Eco mode.
