At the intersection – priority disregarded: cars crashed into each other

On Sunday evening there was a crash in Wals-Siezenheim in the area of the Europastraße/Stadionstraße intersection. A Flachgauer (28) drove his car, according to his own statements, disregarding priority, into the intersection and crashed sideways into the car of a 68-year-old.

In the city of Salzburg, a moped driver also lost control of his motorbike. When he wanted to turn left on Franz-Martin-Strasse, his moped slipped sideways on the rain-soaked road. The man then fell. An alcohol test on the 55-year-old, who has neither a driver’s license nor a driver’s license, showed a measured value of 0.66 mg/l. The driver was injured in the accident and had to be taken to the Salzburg Regional Hospital.
