At the beginning of the year, when the name change was announced, Focus Entertainment in PulluP Entertainmentwhose name is still used everywhere, even in press releases… apart from his site and financial markets, we had learned that an improved version ofAtlas Fallen would see the light of day during this fiscal year. Almost a year after its release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, it is therefore this August 6, 2024 that Deck13 has rolled out its completely free update Reign of Sandweighing 4.613 GB in its version for the console of Sony. Note that you also need to install an activation key weighing 1.45 MB, located in the downloadable content section, who knows why. L’Action RPG was clearly not without its flawswhich earned him not particularly flattering reviews. Having platinumed him at the time, he disappointed us on many points. Obviously, we can only be curious improvements that have been made to it following community feedback and which are partly highlighted in its new launch trailer.
First, note that once updated, Old saves are marked as obsolete, but can be imported into Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sandwith the clarification that some elements may have been reset. Obviously, it’s one-way. And indeed, by loading our game in the last zone, everything is there reset… Well, given the changes listed below, players who want to dive back in will in any case start a game New Game+but it’s still a shame. If we understand correctly, Austin Lee Matthews was replaced by Ben Starr, let’s see what happens with the rest of the cast.
The studio also promises us “new armor, customization options, graphical, interface and sound improvements, as well as many other fixes and improvements”. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that a certain collectible can now be obtained without having to start all over again if it is not collected before a specific passage of the plot… You can find some unpublished visuals on the next page, as well as videos detailing certain elements mentioned.
