Atos: Atos does not plan a social plan in France, wants to “adapt” its organization, declares its CEO to La Tribune


PARIS (Reuters) – Atos does not plan a social plan in France but has started a process of information and consultation with employee representative bodies at European level to “adapt” its organization, said the general manager of the IT services group. , Nourdine Bihmane, in an interview with La Tribune.

“There will be no social plan in France, where the new Atos would employ 5,700 people,” says Nourdine Bihmane.

“On the other hand, we have started a process of information and consultation of the representative bodies of the personnel at European level, with a view to adapting our organization”, continues the boss of Atos.

As the group prepares to split its digital and cybersecurity activities, Evidian, Nourdine Bihmane indicates that any offer for what will remain of Atos will be studied.

“Any request will be studied and will be the subject of a response from the board of directors”, he said about the “new Atos”.

“As soon as our strategic activities in the sense of France’s digital sovereignty are moved to another company, Atos will also be able to open up to other investors, including foreign ones”, he also declares.
