(CercleFinance.com) – Atos_ announced yesterday to support Assault Aviation in the development and production of the new version of the video system on board the Falcon Albatros, the future maritime surveillance and intervention aircraft for French naval aviation.
Atos thus takes charge of the design and production of the on-board video system which allows the compression, distribution and routing of the various tactical data and videos on board the aircraft, taking into account IT security issues.
‘This strategic project allows us to consolidate our long-term relationship with Dassault Aviation around on-board systems and to implement our expertise in security mission systems and high-definition videos on optical fiber’, indicated Cyril Dujardin, SVP , Director of Digital Security activities at Atos.
Scheduled for entry into service in 2025, the Albatross should contribute to renewing the capabilities of the French Navy.
