PARIS, June 19 (Reuters) – Atos announced on Sunday that its chief financial officer Stéphane Lhopiteau will leave the IT group during the second half of the year and will be replaced in this position by his deputy Nathalie Sénéchault.

At 49, her mission will be to support Atos’ transformation and recovery plan unveiled during a “capital markets day” on Tuesday.

A lawyer by training, Nathalie Sénéchault held various management positions in the tax and financial department of Alstom before joining the IT group almost seven years ago.

“Mr. Lhopiteau will leave the Atos group during the second half of 2022, when the separation project will be initiated and on track for completion,” the group said in a press release. “This interim period will ensure a complete and well-ordered transition between Mr. Lhopiteau and Ms. Sénéchault.”

Atos on Tuesday announced a plan to split its business and sell assets.

The planned separation into two separate listed companies should lead to a complete reorganization of the group and its financial management. Atos has already announced the appointment of two chief financial officers for each of the two companies to be incorporated, Anil Agrawal for Evidian (BDS+Digital) and Darren Pilcher for New Atos (Tech Foundations).
