The opportunity to discover in particular the reasons which pushed Pedro to break up with Jefferson, and to recall that at the time of his participation in the show, he was going through a difficult ordeal marked by the loss of his father. “I needed a shoulder to rely on and I couldn’t find that shoulder”, he remembers at Sam Zirah’s microphone. The candidate of Married at first sight underlined how much he and his companion did everything to make their story work. Unfortunately, the broadcast of episodes of the program had the effect of contributing to their estrangement.

“I didn’t recognize him. They were hysterics over shit, over social media.”explains Pedro on Youtube. A situation that pushed Pedro to take action for their respective well-being. “When I saw that he was really in trouble and in love, I made the decision to break up because I saw him suffering and I am not selfish. It was for his good”he admits.

Added to these outbursts of anger is the fact that Jefferson had difficulty adapting to this unprecedented situation. “He missed his family, it was a new life, then we were on TV”explains Pedro, who nevertheless perceived his partner’s behavior as prohibitive. “He started to allow himself to disrespect me by insulting me and, as I told him: ‘I grew up surrounded by violence, it’s not a guy like you who is going to allow himself to insult me .’ He apologized, but then it went too far”confides Pedro who also recognizes his share of responsibility in their breakup.
