The referral letter will be sent soon, Matignon indicated, without further details on the timetable or on the organization.

Announced in the Council of Ministers for the beginning of February, the energy bill was ultimately stripped of its energy production and carbon emissions reduction objectives in January, before disappearing from the radar, against a backdrop of difficulty for the government to form a majority in Parliament around energy issues.
However, these guidelines appeared in a 102-page government document published in the fall, the French Strategy for Energy and Climate (SFEC), with conclusions largely based on the work carried out over several months by a wide range of stakeholders (associations , industrialists, energy specialists…).
