This trip is announced while the appointment of the second half of Gabriel Attal’s government, expected for several days, will take place on Thursday, according to several sources.
Pas-de-Calais has been affected by several episodes of flooding in recent months.
The Prime Minister, who will be accompanied by the Minister of Ecological Transition, Christophe Bchu, intends to express his support for the elected officials, residents and traders affected and to salute the action of the relief and elected officials, Matignon said Wednesday evening, while ensuring the implementation of support systems.
He will go to Blendecques, where he will meet affected traders and visit a dike where flood zone protection devices will be presented to him.
In Longuenesse, he will speak in front of local elected officials, relief forces and residents, before returning to Clairmarais, at the Relais du lac, where he had already met the manager on January 9.
Mr. Attal went to Pas-de-Calais on the day of the transfer of power with his predecessor Elisabeth Borne.

Gabriel Attal also announced a reinforced emergency fund for farmers and market gardeners, with an increase in the aid ceiling up to 20,000 euros.
