The background to the bloody family dispute between the two men is still unclear. Around 2:20 p.m. on Sunday, a 44-year-old pulled out his knife in his house in Uttendorf and stabbed his sister’s husband in the neck area. Investigations are underway When the police arrived, the suspected perpetrator was standing in front of the house and allowed himself to be arrested without resistance. He was taken to the Mattighofen police station. The State Criminal Police Office began the investigation early on Sunday evening, initially into attempted murder. The victim – 43 years old, also a North Macedonian citizen – was flown to the hospital in Salzburg by rescue helicopter.
