The jury finally sentenced the man, who has always maintained his innocence, to eight years in prison for attempted murder and grossly negligent bodily harm. But now the Supreme Court has decided to overturn the judgment against the West Styrian. The reason: In this case, the threatening words “I stich di ob” do not have to mean that the host actually wanted to kill the alleged opponent, but only wanted to hurt him badly. In addition, according to the coroner, the accused did not stab with maximum, i.e. full force. So to be continued.
