Thursday, in Ecquevilly college, in Yvelines, a third grade student admitted handing a glass of soda containing windshield washer to his plastic arts teacher. The teacher was urgently hospitalized and two students were taken into police custody Thursday afternoon.
He admitted the facts this Thursday in front of the college director. A student from Ecquevilly, in Yvelines, tried to poison a teacher. During the end-of-year snack, organized by the plastic arts teacher, the schoolboy offers her a glass of soda mixed with windshield washer fluid. Currently, two students were taken into custody on Thursday afternoon.
“It’s shocking”
One for attempted poisoning and the other for complicity. On Thursday morning, one of these third graders showed up with his family in the principal’s office. He admitted to having handed a glass of soda containing windshield washer to his art teacher during a Christmas snack. His classmates are still very shocked by the news. “I didn’t think that someone in the class could have done that. We’re with them every day, it’s shocking,” says a schoolgirl at the microphone of Europe 1. “I’m really very angry with the students who did that. He messed up, he did something stupid. No, it’s not even stupid, it’s a big stupidity”, underlines a young student.
The schoolboy will be summoned in January for a disciplinary council. He explains that he regrets his action and assures that he simply wanted to make a joke. A joke in bad taste that could have gone very wrong. The professor, after ingesting this dangerous product, was urgently hospitalized. She suffers from irritation of the digestive tract, but above all remains very shocked. Out of danger, she left the hospital and went to the gendarmerie to file a complaint.
