Arcimoto expands its fleet of electric tricycles
Manufacturer specializing in three-wheeled electric vehicles, and based in Oregon (United States), Arcimoto has just formalized a new utility that is both practical and powerful. The manufacturer had already distinguished itself in the past with its FUV (for Fun Utility Vehicle), an electric tricycle capable of spinning up to 120 km/h, but also its MLM, for Mean Lean Machine.
Today, the brand declines the latter in a utility version, called MUV, for Modular Utility Vehicle. The design is similar, here we find a three-wheeled vehicle, but this new model is more customizable, and dedicated to professionals.
An electric modular tricycle for professionals
Arcimoto describes his MUV as ” ideal for everyday indoor and outdoor use for industrial mobility customers who need to move goods, materials, supplies and equipment reliably, quietly and sustainably » .
Boasting a payload of 226 kilos, the MUV is also intended to be agile enough to suit the tightest of environments. There is a double engine at the front, offering the possibility of reaching 120 km / h, not to mention a range slightly greater than 160 kilometers.
As its name suggests, the MUV is compatible with various accessories, in order to adapt to the needs of the company. You can take advantage of the Carrier Package, an open tray, but also the Utility Package or the Cargo Package to take advantage of a closed box and secure storage.
This new Arcimoto MUV is available today, with localized production near Eugene (Oregon), and an entry ticket set at $23,500, with the Carrier Package.
