Those responsible at Kabel Eins have agreed on a new transmission strategy for the afternoon program. Starting next week, numerous crime formats such as “Castle”, “NCIS”, “Scorpion” and “Elementary” will no longer be shown every day, but each series will have its own day of broadcast and thus several hours at a time be seen ProSieben acted similarly early last year when each US sitcom received its own marathon tag.

Sat.1 has also tweaked the program a bit, but limited it to Saturday. Since “Love in the Mind” not only struggled during the first broadcast on Monday evening, but also completely disappeared in the third broadcast on Saturday afternoon with only 2.2 and 2.5 percent in the target group, the show has to give way on Saturday afternoon from now on. Sat.1 is sticking to the broadcast on Monday and the repetition on the same evening. On Saturday, the focus is instead on the culinary arts. From next Saturday, April 30, the repeat of “Open the refrigerator!” will be followed at 12:45 p.m. by a double episode “Kampf der Köche”, in which Alexander Hermann will moderate the show. Nothing changes in the further course of “The joint practice”, “Lenßen takes over” and “K11 – The new cases”.
Resourceful Sat.1 viewers will have noticed that “Kampf der Köche” has always been shown in the morning before “Das Große Backen – Die Profis”. However, since the Herrmann format slips into the afternoon, Sat.1 fills the morning track with a program color that is already being broadcast from 6:15 a.m.: Telenovelas. For this purpose, “In love with Berlin” was dug out of the archive last weekend and six episodes were shown in a row. From Saturday the dose will be reduced to four episodes in a row, but then there will be four episodes of the 2008 soap “Anna und die Liebe” with Jeanette Biedermann in the leading role as Anna Polauke.
