Audi formalizes its new Q8 e-tron, which has a new face and new autonomy.

A facelifted version of the e-tron, which is offered
classic version, in Sportback and in the sporty SQ8 e-tron version.

Audi shows off its new electric SUV

After the successful launch (more than 150,000 units sold) of the e-tron in 2018, the German Audi continues its electric adventure by formalizing the new Q8 e-tron today. According to the manufacturer, this new model is “THE” top-of-the-range model of its SUVs and electric crossovers.

On this subject, the manufacturer recalls that if its electric catalog today has eight models, from 2026, more than 20 vehicles will be available. Remember that in 2030, Audi will become a 100% electric manufacturer.

A new identity corporate »

According to Audi, this new model aims to strike the right balance between comfort and sportiness, thanks in particular to an air suspension with controlled shock absorption. On the look side, we will find here a new front and rear design, which takes up the electric visual identity of the brand with the rings.

The new Audi Q8 e-tron embodies the new corporate identity with a two-dimensional design of the four rings on the outside. The lettering of the model, which is accompanied by the Audi logo on the window pillar, is also new says the builder.

On board, we find the MMI operating system, with its two large high-resolution screens (10.1″ and 8.6″) ​​which replace almost all conventional buttons and switches. The Audi Virtual Cockpit in Full HD is also part of the party.

Audi Q8 e-tron: three electric motors

On the engine side, the Audi Q8 50 e-tron and the Audi Q8 50 Sportback e-tron will have two engines, which generate 250 kW of power in boost mode and 664 Nm of torque, with an announced autonomy of 491 km and 505 km.

The Q8 55 e-tron and Q8 55 Sportback e-tron models will have a power of 300 kW in boost mode and 664 Nm of torque, for 582 km and 600 km of range.

Finally, the high-end finish can count on the presence of three motors, for 370 kW of power and 973 Nm of torque.
The range of the S models is 494 km for the SUV and 513 km for the Sportback, thanks to a new 106 kWh battery (also available on the Q8 55 versions).

Price and availability

The launch of the new Audi Q8 e-tron and Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron, which will be available to order in a few days, is expected by the end of the first quarter of 2023 in France.

On the price side, the base price of the Audi Q8 e-tron will be 86,700 euros.
