The “Sphere” range from Audi will soon have a brand new model.
After the Grandsphere, the Skysphere and the Urbansphere, it’s time for the Activesphere, a 100% electric model.
Audi: a new Activesphere concept
As part of the 2022 edition of Monterey Car Week, Audi wanted to offer attendees a glimpse of its ambitious (and electrified of course) vision for the future of mobility. Also, this weekend, the three Audi Sphere concept cars were presented at The Quail, a showcase exhibiting (among other things) the vehicles of the future.
In the “Sphere” range of the German manufacturer, we already find the Grandsphere, “ comparable to a first class flight on a private jet “, the Skysphere, a 100% electric two-door convertible, and finally the Urbansphere, cut to clear a path in the densest megalopolises. The family will soon welcome a new member with the Activesphere.
An Audi electric adventurer in 2023
Indeed, the manufacturer with the rings has already confirmed the presentation next year of a new concept car. This time it will be a large SUV, 100% electric of course, which will have a fairly futuristic and slender design like the range it is about to integrate.
Of course, beyond its electric side, the Audi Activesphere will also emphasize autonomous driving, with a model that promises maximum flexibility for road and off-road travel.
It remains to be seen to what extent this new Activesphere (expected sometime next year), like its predecessors, will influence the future of production vehicles at Audi.
Remember that the brand is continuing its commitment to have a range of fully electric models by 2033.
