  • The sound upgrade will first apply to original productions and podcasts.
  • 40 titles with Dolby Atmos support are available at launch.

Audible and Dolby Laboratories have announced a collaboration. Podcasts and originals from the audio streaming provider can be heard with Dolby Atmos surround sound for the first time.

Dolby Atmos support initially 40 Audible titles

The list of available content that will support Dolby Atmos at launch includes 40 of what they claim to be the most popular titles, such as Hollywood star Jamie Lee Curtis’ “Letters From Camp”, as well as some news. Among the latter is, for example, an audio book version of “The Little Mermaid” recorded by the English singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

If you own a Dolby Atmos-capable iOS or Android device and have an account with Audible, you can start listening – both in the stream and in the download.
