Sennheiser has seen some momemtums (no pun intended) in recent years with the release of the popular high-end Momentum 4 over-ear headphones, the Momentum 3 wireless headphones, and more recently the mid-range Accentum over-ear headphones.
At the start of CES 2024, Sennheiser launched two pairs of wireless earbuds and a mid-range headset. The company’s new headphones feature new chips, health-related features and increased audio performance. Sennheiser’s new range is very varied, which is why we are going to talk about the three new headphones.
Momentum True Wireless 4
Sennheiser announced at CES that the Momentum True Wireless 4 were its “best performing earbuds yet.” These latest flagship earphones arrive a year and a half after their predecessor, the Momentum True Wireless 3.
Meanwhile, Sennheiser has packed the Momentum True Wireless 4s with a number of premium features, including Bluetooth 5.4, as well as Qualcomm’s S5 Sound Gen 2 sound platform (which supports Auracast, wireless audio loss, Bluetooth LE and low latency).
Sennheiser says the Momentum True Wireless 4 features a new antenna that improves the audio signal, even in densely populated areas. They are also equipped with six internal microphones to improve adaptive ANC and have an additional battery life of 30 minutes.
The Momentum 4 True Wireless headphones are available from February 15, in four colors, at €300.
Momentum Sports
Sennheiser’s latest wireless headphones for physical activities, the Momentum Sport, include a heart rate sensor and a body temperature sensor that can be used with other trackers, sports apps and fitness services, such as the Apple Watch and Health, Strava and many others.

Momentum Sport users can also access Polar’s fitness research and tracking platform. Thanks to this service from Polar, users can get real-time information during their training sessions while wearing the Momentum Sport.
These earbuds are also IP54 water and dust resistant and are wireless charging compatible. Sennheiser says the Momentum Sport earphones feature a new acoustic system and transducer to deliver high-quality sound in a sports earphone.
The Momentum Sport will be available in three colors at €300 from April 9.
Accentum Plus
Last fall, Sennheiser announced a mid-range headset, the Sennheiser Accentum. The Accentum was marketed to people who didn’t want to pay for Sennheiser’s flagship Momentum 4 headphones, but still wanted Sennheiser’s audio quality.

The new Accentum Plus headset sits between the Accentum and Momentum 4, with a true middle-of-the-road audio experience. According to Sennheiser, the Accentum Plus offers better sound and performance than the Accentum. It has Sennheiser’s signature marathon battery life of 50 hours.
Sennheiser claims that the Accentum Plus has better adaptive noise reduction than the Accentum. This is a feature we’re excited to try in the future, as we found Sennheiser’s ANC to be a weak point.
The Accentum Plus has many of the same software and audio features as the Accentums, but it has a slightly more premium design and comes with a carrying case, headphone jack, touch controls, and ANC adaptive hybrid, unlike the Accentum.
The Accentum Plus is available in two colors from February 20 and priced at €230.
