During an interview with Paris Match, Audrey Fleurot spoke about her role as a mother and the injunctions related to motherhood.

Mother of a little boy since 2015, Audrey Fleurot confided in the pages of Paris Match on the pressure exerted by society on the role of mother. “You have to be courageous to say no to this injunction. Society returns the idea that one cannot be a complete woman without being a mother ”, she denounces. If the actress is now a fulfilled mother, she reveals that outside influence still played a role in her desire to nurture. “I am delighted to be a mother, I have decided; but I would have been told that I was still ten years ahead of me, I took them! ”

In this no-holds-barred interview, she says that some women have already made her feel guilty when she told them that her job prevented her from being at home all the time. She then specifies that in terms of education, there is not one parent who does things better than the other. Not without humor, she also returned to the injunction to the rapid development of children. “They have to skip a class, be bilingual at three, do fifty activities, etc… My son rode a bicycle at 5 and not at 4, and I was in a panic”.
