(CercleFinance.com) – Auplata Mining Group (AMG) announces that its gold production before refining exceeded 50 kilos in September 2023 in French Guiana, thus constituting ‘one of the best months of production’ since the start of the ‘Thank God’ factory.
The title is estimated at 94% fine gold, reflecting a performance which confirms the ramp-up of production at the ‘Dieu Merci’ factory.
The cumulative production of AMG Guyane since January 1, 2023 now stands at more than 320 kg of gold before refining (titrated at 92% fine gold), a level higher than that of the total production of 2021 (304 kg) and more than double the 2022 production (157 kg).
According to AMG, ‘this monthly performance results in particular from operational excellence, the constant improvement in the productivity rate, a stabilization of the ore supply to the plant and an improvement in the recovery rate to almost 94%’.
AMG also benefited from less rainfall than in 2022, making ore processing easier.
