A few days ago, Aurore and Jonathan announced that they would soon become parents. The former Beijing Express candidates will therefore be able to realize their dream of starting a family. Unfortunately, the young woman discovered that she was suffering from a very disabling pregnancy disease, which made her live “hell”.
A difficult pregnancy. Sunday June 26, 2022, Aurora and Jonathanemblematic candidates of Beijing Express 2021, revealed expecting their first child. A magnificent victory for the couple who had gone through seven years of PMA (medically assisted procreation, editor’s note) before being able to celebrate this very beautiful “gift of life“, as they had described in an Instagram post. But before welcoming the newborn, Aurore had to deal with a very disabling illness, which broke out during her pregnancy.
Indeed, in an Instagram story published this Sunday, July 3, the young woman indicated that she suffered fromhyperemesis gravidarum, a pathology that causes frequent and violent vomiting in pregnant women. “Sometimes it stops in the third month, but some women live with this child until delivery. We are talking about 3% of women affected by hyperemesis gravidarum in France today. So yes, we forget everything at the birth of the shrimp but it is a real suffering. I learned that some women resort to abortion because the pain is unbearable”she explained to her subscribers.
Aurore: “the idea of opening your mouth makes you vomit”
Aurore then indicated what her daily life had been since the disease had manifested itself. “We stay in the dark for whole days, we can’t communicate because the idea of opening your mouth makes you vomit. Throwing up 40 times a day is unbearable. Waking up every half hour at night is unbearable. When I talk about hell, that’s really the word”continued the mother-to-be, before acknowledging: “I have never experienced so much physical and psychological suffering as during this period. We feel desperately alone and in bad shape when we are supposed to live the most beautiful moments (especially after 7 years of PMA)”. Finally, Aurore explained that because of this rare disease, she had “lost about 7kg during the second and the beginning of the third month”but that she had now managed to find her “initial weight“, as she entered her fourth month of pregnancy.
