The hall was shaking, the atmosphere was exuberant and the audience whipped Mensur Suljovic into the second round of the Austrian Darts Open in Graz! Austria’s number one defeated “Rapid” Ricky Evans in a real thriller 6:4.
The game couldn’t be beat for excitement. Suljovic was already 2-0 up and was 3-4 down at times before bringing about the decision in the tenth set. Ten seeded Scotsman and two-time world champion Peter Wright is waiting in the next round. Two Austrians in round two Austria’s number two Rowby- John Rodriguez had previously lost 6-3 in a duel with Ryan Meikle. With Mensur Suljovic and qualifier Hannes Schnier, two Austrians are in the next round.
