Austrian premiere – artificial intelligence writes politician’s speech

This has never happened before: In the Graz state parliament session, a speech written by an artificial intelligence was held for the first time. Curious: none of the deputies seemed to notice this.

Neos club chairman Niko Swatek had the original idea, which caused laughter but also some critical comments. And this is how the experiment worked: The pink member of parliament “commissioned” the “ChatGPT” software to write a text about how to get to school. At the push of a button, the computer spit out the finished speech – which Swatek then presented to the unsuspecting mandataries. “Artificial intelligence will change our living environment,” the politician justified the action, “but neither politics nor society are prepared!” There is a lack of legal framework.
