Autogrill has entered into non-exclusive discussions with Dufry


MILAN, June 28 (Reuters) – Italian airport and motorway catering specialist Autogrill said on Tuesday it had entered into talks for a possible merger with Swiss duty-free shopping group Dufry.

Autogrill, whose capital is controlled by the Benetton family through their holding Edizione, specified that these talks were not accompanied by an exclusivity clause.

He reaffirmed that he wanted to study all the strategic opportunities likely to promote its development and create value for its shareholders.

On the Milan Stock Exchange, Autogrill shares gained 6.06% at mid-session. At the same time, Dufry stock was up 3.07% on the Swiss market.
