COPENHAGEN (Reuters) – Swedish automotive supplier Autoliv announced on Monday a plan to cut around 320 jobs in its main factories in France and the relocation of certain activities to other sites, as part of announced savings measures in June.

The measures taken in France are expected to generate savings of around $10 million (around €9.5 million) in 2024, rising to around $20 million in 2025 and around $25 million in 2026, when they will be fully implemented, Autoliv said in a statement.

The job cuts will concern production lines but also commercial, administrative and research activities.
