On Saturday morning, the police and rescue services were called to an apartment in the Leopoldstadt district because of a lifeless eleven-year-old. An emergency doctor could then only determine the death of the boy. The executive spoke of a “serious death”.
Due to the unclear circumstances of death, the Vienna State Criminal Police Office was called in. An autopsy was also ordered. The boy’s family is being cared for by a crisis intervention team.
