The leaves are slowly falling from the trees, the temperatures are dropping and that means: Autumn is coming! In order to prepare well for the colder season, we are now looking around for the perfect jackets that will accompany us through time and also brighten up the transition to winter.
Finding a good jacket isn’t always easy, especially in autumn. The temperatures are going down, but we can’t really rely on that. So we’re looking for jackets that are perfect for transition, weather the weather and still look stylish. In order to make your endless search easier, we have selected the four trend models that you wouldn’t want to do without in the cozy season.
Autumn trends: bomber jackets, but please oversize
It’s back: the bomber jacket. And it’s there to make us look downright casual. While it has long been considered a major fashion faux pas and we are painfully reminded of the short and rather slim-fitting models, we are now opting for large and loose-fitting styles. Characteristic of the jackets is the low stand-up collar as well as the tight waistband and cuffs – this now sits much more relaxed on the hips. The aviator or pilot jackets in the oversized look go perfectly with tight dresses and chic high heels, but also with relaxed styles with wide trousers and sneakers.
Leather jackets: A timeless piece of clothing
Leather jackets never really went away and are always going, but sometimes we just forget about them. All the better that they are among the absolute must-haves in autumn. The jackets look particularly good when they are a little more casual. Whether it’s a real biker jacket, a short leather coat or a simple shirt jacket – leather is popular in all shapes and colors this year. The influencer Emelie Lindmark shows how it’s done and wears a wide leather jacket with a corset top and striped wide pants. But these jackets can not only be worn for everyday use, the leather models also look super cool with high heels and a short dress. The special advantage: The material keeps you nice and warm, so that we don’t freeze so quickly in the outfits.
We love maxi coats
In autumn, we really go for the maximum and like to decide on special sizes when it comes to all the trends. It can be and remain wide, and this also applies to the coats. The maxi coat is characterized by its extra length, which reaches to the ankles. In addition, the trend pieces have a very straight cut and are more likely to be found in muted colors such as grey, beige and dark blue. Nevertheless, pink and yellow can also provide a special eye-catcher and put the coat in the foreground, where it belongs. With this trend, you can continue the oversized look and wear wide, elegant pants and loose-fitting sweaters. A chic knitted dress also cuts a great figure under the coat. There are really no limits to your looks.

The word “shiny” not only sounds beautiful, but also fits perfectly with the term “trench coat”. Because this autumn the classic coats appear in a special shine. Shiny trench coats fit perfectly into our wardrobe because they are not only trendy, but also look very elegant and special thanks to the classic cut. The trendy coat can really be combined with everything, as the length allows for many looks. Whether with jeans or a mini skirt, the coat makes every outfit shine. Not to forget: The material is actually very practical, because when it rains, the drops simply roll off.
