Available again: PS5 in the electricity tariff bundle at E wie einfach

Still looking for a PlayStation 5? Then maybe you should just switch electricity providers! With “E as simple” there is another exciting bundle with the PS5. In addition, there is the game Horizon Forbidden West and 12 months of PS Plus. In the tariff check, we find out whether the offer is worth it!

According to legend, you can hear it whirring at night in the branches of well-known electronics retailers: the PlayStation 5 is the big foot of the gaming industry and is hard to come by even long after its release. Again and again, many online retailers promise availability and then cannot keep it. The electricity provider “E wie SIMPLIFIED” now promises deliveries in the next 14 days after conclusion of the contract. However, delays can also occur here. Let’s just take a look at the deal.

349 euros with a top game and 12 months of PS Plus

For once, today’s tariff check isn’t about a mobile phone contract. A PS5 bundle with an electricity tariff might be a lot more attractive anyway, right? It’s even more exciting because you get a second DualSense controller worth just under 70 euros and two years of PS Plus with “E for Easy” for the PS5.

PlayStation 5 bundle with new green electricity contract

You can get the PS5 bundle as part of a new electricity contract from the provider “E as simple”. As you probably know, the monthly price here is calculated according to the size of your household or your consumption. Therefore, it is not that easy to give a flat-rate monthly cost. As a one-person household, I take myself as an example for my following list of costs.

For me, the conclusion of the green electricity contract with “E as simple” would mean a small surcharge compared to my current electricity provider. However, I also had the consumption regulator turned down a little here in order to pay less every month. I find the additional payment of 349 euros a bit high for “E wie SIMPLIFIED”.

According to the pictures, the standard edition of the PS5 is available for the electricity tariff. According to the RRP, this costs 499 euros – a DualSense controller is already included. According to the price comparison, the included game currently costs 69.99 euros and PlayStation Plus for one year costs just under 59.99 euros. The total costs for the bundle thus amount to 628.98 euros. With “E as simple” you save just 279.98 euros. The catch is that it’s still a little uncertain how quickly the console will actually find its way to you.

Question to the group: What do you think of the offer from “E as simple”? Does the math for you, with a certain degree of certainty Sometime to get a PS5? Or do you prefer to wait until the console is available somewhere? Let us know in the comments!
