On December 14, the general public was finally able to discover Avatar 2 on the big screen, 13 years after the first opus!
After seeing the film, you probably asked yourself the following question: “But who can be hiding behind the characters in the film, the Na’vis?”
We already knew Sam Worthington as Sully or Zoe Saldana as Neytiri, but several new protagonists have come to enrich the universe of Avatar.

JAKE SULLY

Still played by Sam Worthington, Jake Sully, who became leader of the Na’vi Omaticaya tribe, founded a family with his partner Neytiri.

The luminous Zoe Saldana lends her features to the fiery Neytiri, head of the Omaticaya tribe alongside “Toruk Makto”, alias Jake Sully.
MILES QUARICH

The charismatic Stephen Lang once again plays the big bad Miles Quaritch, reincarnated in the blue skin of a Na’vi Avatar in The Way of the Water. His character was killed by Neytiri in the first part. How is his return possible? Shhh, no spoilers!
RONAL

Ronal, a newcomer to the Avatar universe, is a relentless leader of the Metkayina tribe, the people of the seas. She is played by Kate Winslet, who broke an apnea record for the role.
TONOWARI

Tonowari, played by Cliff Curtis, is the leader of the Metkayina clan alongside Ronal, his companion.
TSIREYA

Daughter of Tonowari and Ronal, Tsireya is a young Na’vi with an adventurous spirit. She will help the children of Jake and Neytiri to integrate into the Metkayina people. She is played by Bailey Bass.
KIRI

Sigourney Weaver plays Kiri, adopted by the couple Jake and Neytiri. Aged 14, she is the daughter of the Avatar of Grace Augustine, played by Weaver in the first film. An unfathomable mystery surrounds his birth.
NETEYAM

The British Jamie Flatters embodies Neteyam. He is the eldest of Jake and Neytiri’s boys, and “the prodigal son”, the one to whom everything succeeds.
LO’AK

Britain Dalton plays Lo’Ak, Jake and Neytiri’s youngest son. Equally eager to win his father’s approval, Lo’ak was born with an extra finger, making him an outcast within his clan.
TUKTYREY

Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, 13, camps Tuktirey, nicknamed Tuk. She is reckless, mischievous and very close to her mother Neytiri and her big sister Kiri.
SPIDER

Jack Champion, 18, lends his features to Spider. It is about a human teenager abandoned on Pandora when he was still very small. The Sully children, and Kiri in particular, are very attached to him.
