Avatar 2: First trailer for James Cameron’s mega blockbuster released – this is how you see it!

“Avatar 2: The Way of Water” is really coming! After numerous postponements and a huge gap of 13 years since the first film hit theaters and became a sensation, hardly anyone expected to actually see the sequel one day.

But on December 14, 2022 it should actually be time and “Avatar: The Way of Water”, the official title, will start in Germany. A first trailer for the film was shown at the CinemaCon in Las Vegas – in 3D, of course!

Avatar fans who couldn’t attend the cinema operator fair will have to wait a few more days before they can see the trailer for “Avatar 2”. As previously suspected, the trailer will be shown in the opening act for “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” – exclusively for the time being!

So if you want to see the trailer as quickly as possible and on a big screen, you can enjoy it from May 4, 2022. A week later, the “Avatar 2” trailer will also appear online.

According to reports from CinemaCon, the trailer is more of a teaser that shows impressive pictures, but hardly reveals anything about the plot of “Avatar: The Way of Water”. The biggest news: Jake Sully has a new hairstyle!

For many science fiction fans, “Avatar 2” is definitely the cinema highlight of 2022. Two years later, by the way, “Avatar: The Seed Bearer” will continue, the third of a total of five “Avatar” films.
