Avatar 2: the parody is already here, from the creators of Sharknado

Quickly discover the trailer for “Battle for Pandora”, a parody of James Cameron’s “Avatar” films produced by The Asylum, the studio behind the “Sharknado” saga.

They notably parodied Transformers (with Transmorphers) and Avengers (with Avengers Grimm). Today, The Asylum studios, to whom we owe the cult Sharknado saga, are tackling… Avatar!

While Avatar: The Way of the Water has just been released in theaters, discover the trailer for the mockbuster Battle for Pandora above!

Battle for Pandora, available on VOD in the United States since the beginning of the month, recounts the journey of a rescue vessel sent by the American space force to Pandora, a moon of Saturn, after an aid signal emitted by a search engine reached Earth.

With this parody led by Tom Sizemore, Kristos Andrews and Mark Ricketson, we are obviously very far from the Avatar films. Visually, it is certainly very blue, but the resemblance ends there and we are dealing here more with a horror SF film in space, obviously very kitsch, where fans of James Cameron will be able to detect a reference to Abyss, other classic from the Canadian filmmaker.
