The big day is finally here ! Avatar: The Way of the Water has landed in dark rooms, presenting us with its share of new characters. Among these, the children of Jake Sully and Neytiri. But which actors are hiding behind the Na’vi?
Thirteen years after the release of Avatar, the sequel has finally arrived at the cinema! We find the heroes, Jake Sully and Neytiri, 14 years after the events related in the first film.
The Waterway tells us the story of the Sully family members, the trials they face, the paths they must take to protect each other, the battles they must fight to stay safe. lives and the tragedies they endure.
The public was therefore able to discover the 5 children of Jake and Neytiri in La Voie de l’eau. But who are the actors hiding under the mask of the Na’vi?
NETEYAM

Jamie Flatters, a comedian from south London, plays Neteyam. He is the eldest of Jake and Neytiri’s boys, and “the prodigal son”, the one to whom everything succeeds.
LO’AK

Britain Dalton is an actor from Orange County, California. He interprets Lo’Ak, the second son of Jake and Neytiri. He suffers from comparison with his older brother, Neteyam. Equally eager to gain his father’s approval, Lo’ak was born with an extra finger, making him an outcast within his clan.
Indeed, the 5-fingered Na’vi are the Avatars, genetically recreated via human DNA. Lo’ak, born of the love between the Avatar of Jake (human) and Neytiri (Na’vi), inherited this characteristic specific to Man.
TUKTYREY

The young Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, 13, camps Tuktirey, nicknamed Tuk. She is reckless, mischievous and very close to her mother Neytiri, her grandmother Mo’at (CCH Pounder) and her big sister Kiri.
KIRI

Sigourney Weaver, 73, plays the teenager Kiri, adopted by the couple Jake and Neytiri. Aged 14, she is the daughter of the Avatar of Grace Augustine, played by Weaver in the first film. An unfathomable mystery surrounds his birth. The young girl seems to have a special relationship with Pandora and Eywa, the divinity of the Na’vi.
“She has a deep love for all things in the world, wildlife, flora, everything. This is also true when she is underwater. She feels in her element when she is in nature, and in contact with these different creatures. James Cameron made her a real teenager and I had to work very differently from usual, it was an exciting exercise for me”said Sigourney Weaver.
SPIDER

Jack Champion, 18, plays Spider. He is a human child abandoned on Pandora as a toddler. The Sully children, and Kiri in particular, are particularly attached to him.
