Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora arrives December 7, 2023

We were obviously expecting it for this Ubisoft Forward, and we can’t say we’re disappointed. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was entitled to ten minutes for him, the time to present his gameplay, his scenario and some cutscenes, as well as a release date for December 7, 2023. What we saw is not shameful, is nothing glorious and looks very generic.

The foundations of the story are laid, forcing the player to take part in the fight for the defense of Pandora after a few years spent in stasis. A facility that justifies the discovery of the fauna and flora of a planet that is already well known. The evil humans are back to plunder all the resources, and destroy a new land. Nothing new under the sun therefore, the scenario is not likely to compete with the films on its banality.

On the gameplay side, we can’t say that there are many more stars that light up in our eyes. It all looks suspiciously like far crybut licensed by James Cameron. Avatar: Frontier of Pandora will even be playable in two-player co-op when it launches in December. With a bit of luck, we can spend a few good hours there before finally getting bored, abandoning it and forgetting about it.
