The first expansion, “The Skybreaker”, is aimed at summer 2024. This new adventure will open the borders of the Upper Plains, a high-altitude biome where wind and pure air reign. The protagonist will follow the nomadic Zesswas clan to join a major inter-clan festival… Alas: the human army says “screw it” and releases a gigantic war plane to spoil the party. It will be about surviving the surrounding chaos and rallying our compatriots to defeat the enemy.
In the valley, oh, oh
Fall 2024 will keep its head in the clouds with the story expansion “Secrets of the Mountains,” which will head to the mining region of the Western Frontier of Pandora. There, the GDR devastates nature to obtain the precious unobtainium, a fictitious ore with crucial energy properties to power planet Earth and its ever more gluttonous expansionism. Associate creative director Andrada Greciuc presents this new region as an area full of mysteries where aerial combat will be favored.
This will, presumably, conclude the narrative ofAvatar: Frontiers of Pandora. But before all that, Season Pass holders will be able to experience an exclusive mission called “Familiar Echoes” when the game is released, which will apparently require hacking human terminals to hinder the deployment of their machines. For fashionistas, the season pass will also unlock the “Resistance” outfit.
Any pre-order will grant you the “Child of Two Worlds” cosmetic pack. Finally, PS5 players will be able to scratch the exclusive Aranahe Warrior pack.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will be released on December 7 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
