Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Ubisoft delays game release to next fiscal year, along with an unannounced title

The end of the year will often be loaded with new features and Ubisoft has already placed Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope and Skull and Bones on its schedule, which will be released within 3 weeks of each other. It was rumored that they were joined by Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora soon after and she just shattered following theannouncement the results of the first quarter of the publisher’s 2022-2023 fiscal year, extending from April 1 to June 30.

Indeed, it is clearly stated thatAvatar: Frontiers of Pandora will now be released in fiscal year 2023-2024 to “deliver a cutting-edge immersive experience that takes full advantage of next-generation technology.” It will therefore not see the light of day before April 2023 at the earliest. Too bad, it will not benefit from the media visibility that will be provided by the broadcast in cinemas.Avatar: The Way of the Water, but at least the launch won’t be rushed. Is this a sign that we will not have any news of the game during the gamescom 2022 or theUbisoft Forward of September? Only the future will tell us.

Interesting fact, an unannounced game in the premium format (therefore paying) of small scale was also planned for a release before the end of March 2023, but was also postponed to the following fiscal year. Is it a spin off at far cry 6 or licensing more generally? of the famous Assassin’s Creed Rift whose rumor evoked this release period? Or anything else? We will eventually find out when the publisher reveals its plans.

If you want to immerse yourself in the world ofAvatarthe film is on sale on Amazon.
