Avatar Reckoning: Tencent’s MMO unveils its first gameplay images

License Avatar is coming back stronger than ever this year. In anticipation of the film’s release Avatar 2: The WaterwayUbisoft prepares the release of the FPS sound Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, which should arrive at the end of the year, but it is not the only publisher to embark on a video game from the license. We also find Tencent, which publishes Avatar Reckoning, a new mobile MMO developed by Archosaur Games, which has recently been made official. No real image was revealed at the time, but IGN was finally able to get their hands on a first trailer for the game.

The game will finally be released in 2023

We therefore discover a first glimpse of this shooter-type MMO, in which we will embody Na’vi fighting against machines and invaders, but also against the local fauna of Pandora.

The game will therefore rely heavily on PvP, with all the same missions to be carried out in cooperation as well as elements that can be carried out solo, for those who do not want the full social dimension of the title.

With this video, we are also told that the game will not be released in 2022 as originally planned. Avatar Reckoning is now slated for release in 2023, without further details, on Android and iOS.
