For those who don’t know the cult animated series that Netflix is ​​adapting here in live action, Avatar: The Last Airbender tells the story of Aang amidst the conflict between the nations of Water, Earth, and Fire. Released in 2005, the eponymous anime has established itself as a cult program for an entire generation.

As the new Avatar and last representative of the Air Nomad people, Aang (Gordon Cormier) is this world’s only hope against the offensive of Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim).

He embarks on a life-saving quest with Sokka (Ian Ousley) and Katara (Kiawentiio), a brother and sister from the Water Tribe, while Crown Prince Zuko (Dallas Liu) tries to stop them.

As these images suggest, Aang, Sokka and Katara will not be alone in their adventure to save the world. They will meet many people along the way, and will even be accompanied by fantastic creatures.
