Avengers Endgame: at 1 hour and 5 minutes, no one had noticed this moving tribute to Iron Man

If Iron Man was at the heart of the first Phases of the Marvel Universe, this is confirmed with this hidden detail, extremely well seen by a fan, and unearthed from “Avengers Endgame”.

Four years after its release, fans are still discovering hidden secrets in Avengers: Endgame! The Marvel film which concluded the adventure of the Infinity Stones is known to contain tons of hidden details, and in fact, a user of X (formerly Twitter) found a rather unknown one…

Here are the 25 references that we have already spotted in the film!

This Internet user shared a nod to the first of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, which is only visual, and rather well hidden. To find it, freeze the image at 1 hour, 5 minutes and 55 seconds of the film, very precisely:

The first image is of the remaining Avengers uniting when they decide to travel back in time to retrieve the Infinity Stones to counter Thanos in Avengers: Endgame, and the second is of Iron Man, with the reactor MK1 offered by Pepper to Tony with the mention “Proof that Tony Stark has a heart”.

A voluntary homage to what was at the time the last film in the MCU, linking eleven years of narrative arc to the film with which it all began.

We also find this reactor and its ironic mention during the poignant scene at the end of the film

when the superheroes are gathered for Tony Stark’s funeral :

The Infinity Saga of the Marvel Universe in cinema was that of Tony Stark. It was around him that it revolved, since Tony participated in bringing together the Avengers (in particular by going to find the Hulk), was one of the two parties involved in the “Civil War” confrontation, recruited and became Spider’s mentor -Man, before facing Thanos twice and being decisive in the victory against the Mad Titan of the last two Avengers to date.

Since Endgame, recent MCU films have struggled to bring the heroes together, with the exception of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which allowed us to see Stephen Strange and Peter Parker together, and Doctor Strange 2, which featured the ex- Sorcerer Supreme facing the Scarlet Witch played by Elizabeth Olsen.

Looking ahead, the next MCU event is the release of the Hawkeye spin-off series Echo on January 10. But in the cinema, following the actors’ and writers’ strike this year, the only Marvel-Disney announced for next year is Deadpool 3, scheduled for July 24, with Hugh Jackman returning as Wolverine.
