Avengers on TF1: when will Marvel heroes return to the cinema?

The Age of Ultron is broadcast tonight on TF1, the opportunity to ask the question: when will the Avengers return to the cinema? That’s good, we got the answer at the last San Diego Comic Con!

Released in April 2015, Avengers Age of Ultron was a triumph, grossing $1.4 billion worldwide. After the events of the first part, we find Tony Stark. The latter is trying to relaunch a peacekeeping program that had been suspended until then.

Things go wrong and the superheroes Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye will have to join forces once again to fight the most powerful of their adversaries: the terrible Ultron, a terrifying technological being who is sworn to eradicate the human species.

In order to prevent him from accomplishing his dark designs, unexpected alliances are sealed, leading them into an incredible adventure and a breathtaking race against time.

Subsequently, after the planetary box of Avengers Endgame (2.79 billion), released on April 24, 2019, the iconic superhero team was dispersed. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has flown into a new phase under the sign of the multiverse.

A NEW MARVEL ERA

Since then, the House of Ideas has entered a new era since the release of Black Widow in July 2021. New superheroes have appeared such as Shang-Chi or The Eternals.

Spider-Man No Way Home then opened the door to parallel universes. Doctor Strange 2 also took this route on May 4. As for Thor Love and Thunder, it was released on July 13, and Black Panther Wakanda Forever will land on November 9. It will close out Phase 4 of the MCU.

THE MULTIVERSE SAGA

During San Diego Comic Con last week, Marvel honcho Kevin Feige revealed the studio’s intentions for the next 3 years! He thus confirmed two new Avengers films: The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars.

These two feature films will be released 6 months apart, on April 30, 2025 and November 5 of the same year. Note that the production of The Kang Dynasty was entrusted to Destin Cretton, director of Shang-Chi.

The Marvel Studios big boss also revealed the release dates for future MCU Phase 5 and Phase 6 movies. Ant-Man Quantumania will therefore be the first work of phase 5, in theaters on February 15. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will land on May 3, 2023, followed by The Marvels on July 26, 2023.

The adventure will continue with Blade on November 1, 2023, Captain America New World Order on May 1, 2024, and Thunderbolts on July 24, 2024. This film will be the last of Phase 5.

The Fantastic 4 will inaugurate the 6th phase on November 6, 2024. Then, an as yet untitled feature film will land in February 2025, just before Avengers The Dynasty on April 30, 2025.

Another as yet untitled work has been dated for July 2025. It will precede the Avengers Secret Wars, which will arrive on November 5, 2025.

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe therefore see it more clearly in the plans of the studio, which struck a blow with these thundering announcements from Comic Con.

And hold on to your seat; D23, a Disney event that will take place from September 9 to 11, may well surprise us with other surprises!
