L’Avignon Geek Expo will open its doors on February 10 and 11, in the heart of the Avignon Exhibition Center. For this seventh edition, we will have a large stand which will host a discovery area of the VR for those who have not yet been able to try it, our flight simulator area with our seat on jacks which offers very impressive sensations and VR sports areas. Twice during the weekend we will offer a live shooting experience free roaming (free movement) in multiplayer.
As you can see, the overall theme of our virtual reality stand is sport. You can have fun playing solo or in pairs, basketball, tennis, bowling or even ping pong. In addition to losing calories in a fun way, the common feature of all these games is that they support mixed reality. Seeing the real world while interacting with virtual objects is the future and you can enjoy it all weekend long. The space with the kayaks, real ones, will welcome visitors from 7 years old, which will allow children to discover virtual reality in complete safety.. Finally, the flight simulator on cylinders, reserved for adults, will offer you a flight of a few minutes and a landing… If you can land!
The ticket office is open, so don’t hesitate to get your tickets in advance to avoid waiting in long lines. In terms of prices, it is between €18 per day and €25 for the entire weekend. The child rate (6 to 11 years old) is €14 for the day and €19 for two days. Admission is free for accompanied children under six years old. Of course, there are VIP passes and other packages including signings, details of which you will find on the official website.
