After a while, people present in the parking lot of the Avignon Nord shopping center heard the cries of young children, installed in vehicles whose windows had remained closed.

The children suffered from advanced dehydration

As she was returning to her vehicle, the mother of the family was arrested by the gendarmes. While in police custody, she assured that she just wanted to do some shopping but her shopping took longer than expected. According to La Provence, the Avignon prosecutor’s office decided to close the case with compulsory educational measures.
